He was predeceased by: his parent Philip Osmond; his son Roland Osmond; his siblings, Gordon Osmond (Violet) and Irene Skeard (Clifford); his daughters-in-law, Loretta Osmond and Minnie Osmond; his stepsiblings, Edward Seymour (Margret), Michael Seymour (Blanche), William Seymour (Jessie), Emanuel Osmond (Theresa) and Violet Osmond (Cyril); and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Harvey, John Harvey and Wilfred Ricketts.

He is survived by: his parent Margaret Osmond; his wife Jessie; his children, Melvin Osmond of Port, Wayne Osmond (Tina) of Port, Darrell Osmond of Port and Doris Carter (Junior) of Dartmouth, NS; his daughter-in-law Ruth White; and his siblings-in-law, Winnie Parsons (Henry) of Port, Bernice Keeping (George) of Dartmouth, NS, Joyce Hulen (Dorman) of Isle, Eileen Ricketts of Port, Jane Anderson (Stuart Short) of Cape Ray, NL, Linda Harvey (Rob Ingram) of Port, Violia Bragg (Jerome) of Port and Edward Harvey of Port. He is also survived by grandchildren, ten (10) great-grandchildren plus a large circle of nieces, nephew and friends.
