He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Dement and Rosie Dement; his siblings, Rocky Dement and Ida Baird; and his sons, Travis Dement and Calvin Dement.
He is survived by: his wife Lovetta June Dement; his children, Hughie Carl Dement (Teresa), Berina Bear (Nick) and Kimberly Heater (Shawn); his grandsons, Rocky Heater, Titus Heater, Caleb Dement and Dalton Dement; and his sisters, Vada Frazier and Tina Gilmer. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles.
