He was predeceased by: his parents, William Charles and Victoria Ilene Johnston (Parsons); his siblings, George Albright, Bill Johnston and Betty Jo Rettinger; and his nephews, Mark Johnston and Michael Rettinger.
He is survived by: his wife Betsy; his daughters, Kimberly Johnsey (Bob) of Worland and Cynthia Szabo of Greeley, Colorado; his niece Victoria Walker (Heath) of Salem, Oregon; his grandchildren, Shelsi Pyer of Katy, Texas, Stephen Pyer (Shawn) of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Shannan Richardson (Austin) of Pavillion, Wyoming and Jasmine Szabo (Fabian); and his great grandchildren, Jaxson Lester, Jerzee Pyer, Axton Pyer, Rip Richardson and Rein Richardson.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Riverview Memorial Gardens West River (1071 W River Rd, Worland, WY 82401).
Memorial donations may be made to the Spirit Mountain Hospice Center.
