He was predeceased by: his parents, John Michaels Jr. and Helen House Michaels; his wife Sharon; his son Daniel; his brother Jim; and his brothers-in-law, Scotty Hinman and Ted Adkins.
He is survived by: his brother Bob; his children, Barbara Ostermann (Bruce) of Worland, Robert Michaels (Loranna) of Powell, Brenda Ooms (Edwin) of The Netherlands, Bryan Michaels (Terri) of Gillette and Burke Michaels (Angie) of Boise, ID; his sisters, Dorothy Gibler (John) of Basin and Karen Hinman of Basin; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Henry (Garie) of Robertson, Jerri Adkins of Mountain View and Jack Jacobsen (Christie) of Worland.
