He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Chapman (Clark) and Raymond Chapman; his wife Betty Graham; his daughter Janet Thompson; and his brothers, Dwight and Darrell.
He is survived by: his sister Ruth; his children, Sharon (Bob) and Dave Chapman (Jill); his son-in-law Gary Thompson Worland; and his grandchildren, Tara Busch Worland, Dawn, Keith Holloway and Miranda Amelon.
