He is survived by: his wife Karen Emiliano; his siblings, Patricia Cracco (Jim) of Boulder, Mark Steichen (Carol), Gail Swanston (Paul) of Aberdeen, Alan Steichen (Laura) of Tucson, Curt Steichen (Janet) of Minneapolis, Wendy Brown (Craig) of Watertown and Laurie Steichen (Wally Ingram) of Los Angeles, California; his stepchildren, Anthony "Tony" Patrick Mims of Dallas, Texas and Patricia "Renee" Mims of Austin, Texas; and his stepgrandchildren, Albany Grace Mims and Anthony Patrick "AJ" Mims.
