Janice Ruth Wake Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janice Ruth Wake (Worland, Wyoming), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Jo and John Purcelli; her husband Carl Wake; her mother-in-law Laura Meade; and her siblings-in-law, Clarence Huntley and Marilyn Purcelli.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Hecht (Dave) of Worland, Marv Wake (SanDee) of Worland and Steve Wake of Worland; her grandchildren, Katie Jones (Tyler), Christie Bozicevich (Jason), Nathan Sheetz (Megan), Codi Jorgensen (Kyle), Brooke Guadagna (Anthony), Brittany Tidemann, Chelsea Moore (Jerel) and Kinley Maxwell (Pete); her great grandchild Mack; and her brothers, Harry Purcelli (Phil) and Phil Purcelli (DeAnn). She is also survived by her children, all her grandchildren, as well as far reaching extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home (1320 Big Horn Ave, Worland, WY 82401). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the United Methodist Church (1301 Big Horn Ave, Worland, WY 82401).
Memorials donations may be made to the Circle J Ranch or the United Methodist Church in memory of Janice.
