He was predeceased by: his parents, Rachel Benington Putnam and Vincent Michael Conway; and his sister-in-law Linda Conway. He is survived by: his children, Paul Conway of Land, Jill Detampel (Marc) of Orland Park, Jeff Conway (Annalisa) of Frankfort, Vince Bauermeister (Melania) of Slovenia and Tommy Nelson (Kelly) of Metropolis, Illinois; his brothers, Ross Conway of Piffard and Robert Conway (Donna) of Mokena, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Jack, Mia, Ben, Ava, Luke, Elena, Sebastian, Kenna and Kamryn.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Legion Post 44 and sent to PO Box 524 Worland, Wyoming 82401.

“Don Conway, or "Uncle Don" will be greatly missed by me, and the RMRCC that had he pleasure of spending time with him. I enjoyed our many trips to car shows and races together. Many times, we'd meet in Shoshoni, or " Shoshone" as he called it to travel to the anual car show in Casper together. He could always make me laugh, flirting with waitresses at meals, or telling funny stories. He had a kind heart, calling me on my birthday every year, or bringing gifts from his travels. I'll miss him..”
