He was predeceased by: his parents, George LeRoy and Dee Lois Crichton (Heath); his son George Woodrow (Kethi Innes); and his siblings, Patricia, Robert and Earl Crichton.
He is survived by: his wife Zula May (Newton); his children, Archie LeRoy of Riverbank, Robert Earl Crichton (Debra) and Kandi Smith of Wahoo, Nebraska; and his sister May Scharen of Fromberg, Montana. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
