It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Thomas Whitney of Wheatland, Wyoming, born in Laramie, Wyoming, who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Bryce; his brother Jay; and his stepson Todd Hallsted. He is survived by: his wife Jacquie Chasteen; his children, Londo (Renee) of Bakersfield, Miles (Samantha) of Wheatland, Piper (Chris) of Wheatland and Matt Hallsted (Shaunte) of Seminary, Mississippi.; and his siblings, Jill Zimmerschied of Wheatland and Mike of Tolar, Texas. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
