He is survived by: his children, Merlin Roy Hitt (Robin) of Wheatland and Ann Lois Hitt Isabel (Michael) of Scottsbluff Nebraska; his wife Ferol Ann Hitt of Wheatland; his son Bill Hitt (Stephanie) of Riverton, Wyoming; his sister Louise Marie Clark (Larry) of Arizona; and his great grandchildren, Roy Hitt, William Hitt, Conner Hitt, Matthew Hitt, Samuel Isabel and Ashley "Pidge" Skager. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
