He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Walt and Lenora Tillman (Monen); and his wife Jackie. He is survived by: his former wife Jacqueline Leah Clark; and his children, Ron, Mort (Cindy) and Dusty (Judy). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
