He is survived by: his brother Steve Short (Zella) of Blackhawk; his sister-in-law Lynne Short of Glenrock; his nieces and nephews, Amanda Stenkamp (Mitch) of Elizabeth and Ryan Short of Blackhawk; and his great-nephew William Littleton.
