He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph C. Virant and June Virant Ludeman (Bermbach); and his former wife Elizabeth Louise Virant (Wagner). He is survived by: his wife Linda Virant (Smith) of Wheatland; his children, Mandy Binning (Brett), Lacey Bruckner (James), Jeffery McGuire and Michelle Birkle (Mark); his siblings, Melanie Brown (Darel) and Zane Shaffer; and his grandchildren, Rylie Bruckner, Ali Bruckner, Dustin Hanks and Braxton Bitner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
