He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gerhardt Christian Koerwitz and Helen Marie Koerwitz (Warnholz); and his wife Maxine Koerwitz (Kissel). He is survived by: his children, Bruce (Deborah) of Cheyenne, David (Beverly) of Thermopolis, Wayne (Pammie) of The Villages, Florida and Laurie Toye (Pete) of Riverton, Wyoming. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren.
