She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Weisgarber and Millie Weisgarber (Wintchell); her husband Howard Carpenter; her son Les; and her great grandchild Gabrielle Skager.
She is survived by: her former husband Milton Skager; her daughter-in-law Gloria Skager; and her grandsons, Michael Skager (Kathy) and Daniel Skager (Ashley). She is also survived by four great grandchildren, and a step-great grandson.
