He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Luther Charles and Dorothea Ella Marion (Fager); his wife Kay Marion (McCoy) of Wheatland; his sons, Scot Marion of Arvada and Brian Marion of Palm Springs, California; and his sisters, Barbara Bond of Tulsa and Phyliss Metcalf of Grenola, Kansas. He was also cherished by two grandsons; three granddaughters; and one great granddaughter.
