He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie E. Blackburn and Lena Blackburn (Caudill); his former spouses, Tish Blackburn and Letitia Blackburn; his siblings, Don Blackburn, Nancy Traylor and Rick Blackburn; and his stepchildren, Kristi Hooker-Fisher and Marcus Cooley.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Blackburn of Cheyenne, Wyoming; his children, Mitch Blackburn of Wheatland and Cathy Comstock of Texas; his stepdaughters, Barbara Martell of California and Lori Strawn of California; his grandchildren, Mitch Blackburn, Jr. of Texas and Jessie Blackburn of Texas; and his great grandchild Raylyn Blackburn of Texas. He is also survived by several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
