In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Darlene leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Darlene may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Lowell and Frances Agnes Palmer (Tobin); her brother Stanley Palmer; her husband Ted Fertig; and her son Till Fertig.
She is survived by: her daughters, Misty Tyson (Kelley) of Wheatland, Kim Ockinga (Doug) of Cheyenne, Brandy Pile (George) of Wheatland and Tia Bernard (James) of Westminster, Colorado; and her sisters, Leona Lenk of Aurora and Karen Rhoades (Dick) of Rifle, Colorado. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Wheatland Bible Church (4880 Palmer Canyon Rd, Wheatland, WY 82201).
