He is survived by: his parents, Cindy Tanny and Craig Murtha Tanny; his siblings, Brandon Tanny and Griffin Murtha Tanny; his grandmother Julie Schlegel; and also, Murtha Schlegel of Wethersfield, CT and Brenda Schlegel of Bonita Springs, FL..

In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be mailed to PO Box 264, Weston, MA 02493 and will be appropriated to Brain and Behavior research.
