She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Turzinski and Martha Turzinski (Dallman); her husband Chester Cherek; her son Randy; and her grandsons, Jacob and Jeffrey.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Cherek (Giselle), Marge Snippen (Randy), Lori Artz (Dan), Allan Cherek (Cindy) and Kurt Cherek (Debbie Engman); her daughter-in-law Debbie Cherek-Seim; her siblings, Henrietta Adamski and Dave Turzinski (Sandy); and her sister-in-law Marge Ostrowski. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be directed to the family to be used in Mary's honor at St. Agnes Catholic Church.
