He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judy; his stepchildren, Tim Chernak (Robin), Sue Walenga (late Al) and Kelly Marozas (Mike); his stepgrandchildren, Holly Clancy (Dan), Matt Walenga (Jolane), Ryan Walenga, Jake Walenga, Tyler Walenga, Mitch Marozas and Nicholas Marozas; his siblings, Norman Schmitt and Theresa Crofts; his nephews, Mark Schmitt and Joe Schmitt; and his niece Lisa Curl.
Due to Phase 3 of the State of Illinois COVID-19 guidelines visitation is limited to 25 people at all times.
