He was predeceased by: his parents, George Strong and Alice Strong; his daughter Roberta Paulette; his parents-in-law, Lloyd and Ellen Bailey; his siblings, Wilma Strong, George and Jerry Strong; and his grandmother Hazel Ames.
He is survived by: his former spouse Laurie Boyles; his wife SuEllen Strong; his children, Melissa Ragsdale of Casper, WY, Jenny Strong (Evan) of Gilcrest, CO and Tristan Brown of Denver, CO; his grandchildren, Jerex Lorenz, Teagyn and Brecklyn Ragsdale; his siblings, Joyce Haptonstall (Sam) of Upton, Kathy Tarter (Jerry) of Boise, ID, David Strong (Wendy), Dean Strong (Sonia), Cecil Strong (Paulette) and Steve Strong of Upton, WY; and his son Ryan Stenberg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and a very great and special friend.
