He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Zimmer and Erma Zimmer (Wynant); his wife Ila; his daughter Joanie Lynn; his sons-in-law, Terry Viktorin and Edwin Ward; his sister Avis Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Howard Kaufman and Dolores Kaufman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vickie (Michael Bond), Marcia Ward and Mary Viktorin; his grandsons, Landon, Shane Viktorin and Zenith Ward (Lisa); and his great grandchildren, Dannica, Jaxon Ward, Noah and Jonah Ward.
