With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rachel L. Sterkel (Torrington, Wyoming), born in Longmont, Colorado, who passed away on December 23, 2018 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Schlagel and Elizabeth Schlagel; her husband Willie; her daughter Diane Lydia; and her siblings, Herman Schlagel (Martha), Ben Schlagel, Helene Foltz (Ruben), Pauline Schleining (George), Rosemary Feagler (Henry) and Darlene Bower (Richard).
She is survived by: her children, Donald Sterkel of Lake Side and Connie Packard of Torrington, Wyoming; and her grandchildren, Nicole Cattin (Jordan), Taylor and Cooper of Kenmare. She is also survived by his three step-children, twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild.
