It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Backhaus (Torrington, Wyoming), born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, who passed away on March 21, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Anna Marie; her parents, Otis Willis and Freda Willis (Hoff); her husband Fred Backhaus; and her stepson Larry.
She is survived by: her pet Odie; her son Lester Miller (Bobbi); and her grandchildren, Don Ring (Sally) of Englewood, CO, Mike Smith (Shanna) of Lingle, WY, Teri Shinost (Mark) of Torrington, WY, Daniel (Caroline), Northern Ireland, Kelly Heenan (Roger) of Casper, WY, Sara Backhaus and Brighton. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
