It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marcia Louann Hort of Torrington, Wyoming, who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendell Eggers and Mary Eggers (Annan); her sister Eleanor; her husband William Hort of Lyman; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Hort and Patrick Harris.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Hort of Harrisburg, NE, Steven Hort (Tammy) of Sterling, CO, Kathy Foltz (Larry) of Torrington and Vicky Harris of Torrington. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, plus one on the way, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Colyer Funeral Home (2935 Main St, Torrington, WY 82240). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Valley View Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Presbyterian Church of Torrington.
