He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Blue and Rose Blue (Whitney); his wife Phyllis Keim; his son Paul; and his grandson Zach Childs.

He is survived by: his children, Kim Holthus and Kathy Childs (Steve). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
