He was predeceased by: his godson Mason Peterson. He is survived by: his parents, George Afdahl and Annelle Afdahl (Ellefson) of Faith, SD; his wife Tami Schrater; his sons, Canton and Blake; his siblings, Georgia Stocklin (Jeff) of Ten Sleep, WY, Jerry Afdahl (Lori) of Kingwood, TX and Joel Afdahl (Claudine) of Faith, SD; his mother-in-law Roberta Schrater of Buffalo, WY; and his brother-in-law Steve Schrater (Shawna) of Gillette, WY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
