She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Lange and Elvera Lange; her siblings, Charles, Doris King and Bonnie Reeve; and her granddaughter Elizabeth.
She is survived by: her husband Russell Shannon; her children, Sherri Herbst (John), Brenda Johnson (Jeff) and Kent Shannon; her brothers, Jim Lange and Rodger Lange; and her sister-in-law Judy Lange. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
