With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeannette Elaine Schreiner (Torrington, Wyoming), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 86. As Jeannette Elaine departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jeannette Elaine. Though Jeannette Elaine may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Herdt and Lydia Herdt (Rupp); her sister Saundra Herdt; and her grandson Matt Schreiner. She is survived by: her husband LeRoy Schreiner of Torrington; and her children, Debra Murray of New Bern, Judith Lovato of Fort-Collins and Ed Schreiner of Torrington. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Congregational Church (2102 East E Street, Torrington, WY 82240).
