He was predeceased by: his son Joe Phillips (Crystal) of Ishpeming, MI.; his father Jim Bye; and his stepmother Carolyn Bye. He is survived by: his wife Lynette Bye of La Grange, WY; his mother Linda Bye of Kilgore, TX; and his sisters, Kenyon, Shelley Hart of Texas, Becky Whitney (John) of Onalaska, TX and Rena Miller of Douglas, WY.. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the Wyoming Game and Fish.
