He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Abbott and Bonnie Abbott (Martin); and his brother Joey. He is survived by: his former wife Janice Hesselgesser; his wife Jan Abbott of Torrington, Wyoming; his sons, Jeremy Abbott of Torrington and Jamie Abbott of Fort Collins, Colorado; his granddaughter Sarianna Lynn Abbott of Fort Collins; and his siblings, Jim Abbott of Lexington, Peggy Withers (Patsy Vergara) of Rockford and Deanna Greenwald (David) of Lingle. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Memorials may be given to either Valley Christian School or Lifeway Church.
