He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Schmick and Rosie Schmick (Frank); his children, Mark and Jerralee; and his brother Kenny.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Alan (Betsy) of Torrington, Sherrie Van Vleet (Steve), Wendy Yule (Dan) and Steve (Lonna) of Torrington; his siblings, Henry (Larry) of Cheyenne, Virginia Miller of Scottsbluff, Ruth Long (Barry) and Susan Martinez; and his aunt Caroline Miller. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requested that donations be made to the First Congregational Church.
