He is survived by: his parents, Estella Gomez and Antonio Barrera Hernandez; his wife Betty Garcia Gonzalez; his children, Erik Barrera, Hugo Barrera and Laura Barrera; and his grandchildren, Jasmine, Danny, Anaya and Emilia. He is also survived by his mother, three brothers, three sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
