William Edward Bolton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Edward Bolton (Thermopolis, Wyoming), born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 2, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Bolton and Barbara Bolton (Harmon). He is survived by: his uncle Phillip; his former wives, Phyllis and Esther Davis Blakesley; his children, Teresa Bolton of Nixa, Missouri, Johanna Brandt of Streator, Illinois, Mark Bolton (Karen) of Carriere, Mississippi, Matthew Bolton (Rachel) of Hamilton, Ohio and Phillip Bolton of Centennial, Wyoming.; his stepchildren, Veva Blakesley and Mark Blakesley (Lori) of Thermopolis, Wyoming.; and also Thelma. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Community Federated Church (244 N 6th St, Thermopolis, WY 82443). A reception will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Community Church (244 N 6th St, Thermopolis, WY 82443).
After 36 years of marriage, Esther was admitted to the Basin Retirement Center in Basin, Wyoming, with Alzheimer's disease in December 2017.
