It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lola June Buckner of Thermopolis, Wyoming, born in Hyannis, Nebraska, who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Lola June farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lola June is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Burton and Fern Marie Burton (Wright); her husband Jimmy Buckner; and her children, James, Rob Buckner and Patricia Endicott.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Bruce Self; her children, Mary Jo of Wyoming and Wayne Buckner of Nebraska; and her daughter-in-law Monica Buckner. She is also survived by many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
