It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Charles Shaffer (Thermopolis, Wyoming), who passed away on April 8, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Dale Shaffer and Helen Delores Shaffer; and his brother Walter Glenn Shaffer. He is survived by: his siblings, Edward LeRoy Shaffer, Dean Raymond Shaffer, Danny Wayne Shaffer (Diana) and Doris Ann Ready; his wife Eloise Shaffer; and his children, Bradley Jay Shaffer (Shannon), Brenda Kay Shaffer, Jodie Lee Freeberg (Greg), Douglas Ross Shaffer and David Todd Shaffer (Jackie). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
