It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Robert Cowger in Thermopolis, Wyoming, who passed away on March 1, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Halford and Leona Bertha Cowger (Shafer); and his brother James "Jim" Cowger. He is survived by: his former wives, Cindy Benintendi and Phyllis Armstrong; his close friend Toby; his daughters, Michelle Dawson (Todd) of Billings, Jenifer Grimm (Jeff) of Thermopolis, Wyoming and Stefanie Ireland of Thermopolis, Wyoming; his grandchildren, Ashley (Ben), Kaylee, Madeline, Austin and Lee; his great grandchildren, Thomas and Brooklin; and his sister Norma Asay (Butch).
Memorial donations may be made to the Elks Lodge 1611.
