With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Vale Mills of Thermopolis, Wyoming, born in Burtrum, Minnesota, who passed away on September 15, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Mills and Catherine Miller Mills; his daughter Mary Mills; and his granddaughter Kelly Grissom. He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Mills Batenhorst (John), Kelly Mills Wagner (Jim) of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Tracy Mills McDonald (Neal) of Billings, Montana and Jamey Mills Nielson (Ken) of Lander, Wyoming; his brother Jon Mills (Lisa) of Colleyville, Texas; and his grandchildren, Michael Grissom, Glennis Gelbard (Nicholas), Lawton Coursey, Sean Batenhorst, Augustus "Gus" Wagner, Jessy Wagner (Riley Tolar), Nicholas "Nick" McDonald (Stacey), Katherine "Kate" Jones (Rick), Timothy "Tim" McDonald (Bailee), Jacob "Jake" McDonald (Dani Ross), Johanna "Jenny" Nielsen, Lucas "Luke" Nielson and Anna Nielsen. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; several cousins; nieces and nephews.
