With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Carlton Chatwell (Thermopolis, Wyoming), born in Tuscola, Texas, who passed away on January 6, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward Chatwell and Willie Wolfenberger; his son Jackie; his former wife Dena; and his siblings, Margaret, Bill and Charles.

He is survived by: his wife Charlene Schrock; his children, Bruce Chatwell (Peggy) of Yuma, Arizona and Christine Briggs (Dave) of Sierra Vista; his daughter-in-law Sondra Chatwell of Berthoud, Colorado; his siblings, Don, Jim of Texas and Roma Thompson of Big Springs, Texas; his stepchildren, Don Shoopman (Val) of Alberta Canada, Marty Shoopman of Ten Sleep, Kathy Shoopman (Blaine) of Riverton and Jim Hendrickson (Letha) of Shoshoni; and his grandchildren, Justin, Shannon Miller and Jack. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
