With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alfred A. J. Bauer of Thermopolis, Wyoming, who passed away on July 22, 2021 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alfred A. J. Bauer to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Welby Bauer and Monica Bauer (Meick); his brother Gary; and his brother-in-law J. M. Shafer. He is survived by: his children, Debra of Thermopolis and Joe (Laurie) of Cody; his wife Bonnie Lou of Thermopolis; his grandchildren, Tyler Bauer (Brittany) of Billings, MT and Shaynie Bauer of Tempe, AZ; his brother Don of Thermopolis; and also, Tiffany Root Bayleigh and Lucas of Casper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hot Springs County Pioneer Association, PO Box 11, Thermopolis, WY 82443 or to donor's choice.
