In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Barbara Effie had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Barbara Effie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Octavius Brown and Esther Ruth Brown Wilson (Edwards); her husband Robert Eugene Riddle; and her siblings, Paul, Pauline Eichholz (Dolly) and Shirley Vincent.
She is survived by: her siblings, Neil Brown of California and Donna Levy of Wisconsin; and her children, Janice Goodrich (Robert) of Fort Myers, Darrel Riddle (Grace) of Olathe, Joyce Watson (Al) of Enid and Dale Riddle (Andi) of Deaver, Wyoming.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (215 S Cleveland St, Enid, OK 73703).
