He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Rustad and Ida Rustad; his wife Fern; his siblings, Edward, Adeline, Nora, Arla, Cora and Twila; and his daughter Jerri Cruz.
He is survived by: his children, Allen Munson of Rapid City and Kathreen Bodell of Rapid City; and his sister Aileen Morrison of Michigan. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
