We bid farewell to Walter E. Rustad of Sheridan, Wyoming, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 2, 2025 at the age of 89. Walter touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Rustad and Ida Rustad; his wife Fern; his siblings, Edward, Adeline, Nora, Arla, Cora and Twila; and his daughter Jerri Cruz.
He is survived by: his children, Allen Munson of Rapid City and Kathreen Bodell of Rapid City; and his sister Aileen Morrison of Michigan. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jan Funeral Service. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pine Lawn Memorial Park (4301 Tower Rd, Rapid City, SD 57701).
