He is survived by: his wife Linda Graber; his sons, Kurt Layher (Jessica) and Bret Layher (Sally) of Sheridan; his siblings, Henry Layher of Douglas, WY, Karen Mies of Cameron Park, CA and Fred Layher of Glen Ellen, CA; and his grandchildren, Delenn Layher, Jacob Layher, Tanner Layher and Jayden Layher.
