He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Carson and Hazel Carson; and his siblings, Homer, Frank, Jeannie and Patricia.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Russo; his children, Patricia Carson and Suzy Burgess; his grandchildren, Winsome Williams, Madison Williams, Alyssa Burgess and Payton Burgess; his sister Karolla Montgomery; and his sister-in-law Norma Carson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
