Matthew Paul Wesnitzer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Matthew Paul Wesnitzer (Sheridan, Wyoming), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2025 at the age of 42. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Matthew may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Matthew touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his mother Mari Lynne Huhnke. He is survived by: his father Joe Wesnitzer (Carol Sims) of Sheridan; his sister Amanda Bunker (Adam) of Sheridan; his grandmother Sharon Fech; and his stepgrandfather Joe (Sarina Sturtz) of Meeteetse. He is also survived by nieces and nephew, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Matt's name may be made to the Volunteers of America Northern Rockies in Sheridan, Wyoming, or to an addiction-recovery charity of your choice.
