He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Harris and Carrie Harris. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Larson; his sister Leona Balfany of Minneapolis; and his sons, Alan (Faith) of Green River, Bennie (Margaret) of Tomball, Mike (Cecilia) of Casper and Bruce (Elaine) of Rock Springs, Wyoming..
