He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Gligorea and George N. "Joe" Gligorea; his brothers, George R. Gligorea and Judge Thomas J. Gligorea; his in-laws, Myrtle and Adolph "Dutch" Hartwig; his siblings-in-law, Gretchen Hartwig and Dr. Charles Hartwig; and his son-in-law Curt Simmons (Cindy).
He is survived by: his significant other Sally Ann Hartwig; his children, Carole Weisz (John) of Sheridan, Cindy Simmons of Phoenix and Calvin Gligorea (Mitzi) of Des Moines, Washington.; and his grandchildren, Adrienne Loveland, Aaron Weisz, Ashley Estes, Shane Gligorea, Gene Phillip Gligorea, Nicole Simmons and Drew Simmons. He is also survived by his three children, seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
