He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Whaley and Franie Whaley of Shell, WY.; his siblings, Thomas, Chester, James, Genevieve, Robert and Mabel; and his grandson Colter Knox.
He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia; his wife Judy; his stepsons, Ken and Kevin Wall (Leslie); his nephew Jack Wright; his former wives, Jolene Smith and Ruth Elliott Stouffer; his children, David, John Stouffer (Nancy) and Jennifer Roth (Mark); and also, Guy Lanahan and Zachary Knox.
